The deadline for submitting income tax returns for the assessment year 2023/2024 ends today (30 Nov).
The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) said that the reports of income tax returns will only be accepted via its online system.
The IRD further said that those who require technical support can acquire the necessary help from the head office, and regional and city offices, which will remain open today.
The Bank of Ceylon branch located at the head office and Jawatte office premises of the Inland Revenue Department will also be kept open for income tax payments, it added.
