Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and his fiancee Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities have begun with Mameru ceremony at the Ambani’s residence Antilia in Mumbai. In a video, which has shared on social media, Anant and Radhika can be seen waving at their guests from a Vantara-inspired stage as their star-studded ceremony kicks off. For the unversed, Vantara, meaning ‘Star of the Forest,’ is an ambitious wildlife preservation project founded by Anant Ambani and supported by Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot in Mumbai on July 12. A few days back, Mukesh Ambani met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to invite him for his son’s wedding. Before that, Anant personally invited Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn to his wedding.
The distribution of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding invite began with Nita Ambani, chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer the invite and seek God’s blessings.
The main wedding ceremonies will start on July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code is Indian traditional. July 13 will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic. All these functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC.
