Keerthy Suresh recently voiced the AI-powered supercar Bujji, the vehicle owned by Prabhas’ character Bhairava in Kalki 2898 AD.

The grand magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD has opened to a thunderous response at the box office with many aspects of the film being praised by audiences and critics alike. While the cast of the film is receiving praise, Keerthy Suresh, who does not appear in the film but has provided her voice in the movie, has also received a lot of praise.

Keerthy Suresh voiced the AI-powered supercar Bujji, the vehicle owned by Prabhas’ character Bhairava in the film. Her debut as a lead actress came with the Malayalam film Geethanjali starring Mohanlal.

The actress broke into Telugu cinema with Nenu Sailaja and endeared herself to the Telugu cinema with just her first film. Her large-scale breakthrough came with Nag Ashwin’s Mahanati. In the biographical drama Mahanati, she played the role of the late southern actress Savitri, earning critical acclaim and the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance. Her portrayal was also included in Film Companion’s list of the “100 Greatest Performances of the Decade.”

Billed as a top-tier actress by now, she received a lead role opposite Pawan Kalyan in Agnyaathavaasi amidst very big expectations but the movie unexpectedly underperformed at the box office. It was dubbed an average grosser at the end of its run. Keerthy Suresh has a no intimate scene clause in her movies and she is known to have not performed any intimate scenes in any of her films.

In fact, according to reports, she turned down a Telugu film because the script included a lip-lock scene. While the name of the film is not known, it is reported that the actor she refused to kiss was Nithiin. Sources say that she was looking forward to working with Nitin but dropped out because of the lip-lock scene.

Keerthy Suresh is now gearing up for her Hindi debut with the film Baby John starring Varun Dhawan, a remake of Atlee’s Theri.
