Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana welcome Team India as they embark on victory parade after T20 World Cup win.
India is beaming with pride and joy, after Team India’s historic World Cup win on June 29th. As the cricket team returned back with the trophy, they embarked on a victory parade in the city of Bombay, as well as at the iconic Wankhede stadium. Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana too, took to their social media handle to welcome the team.
Vicky Kaushal took to his Instagram stories, capturing the euphoric celebrations of Team India at Wankhede Stadium following their thrilling T20 World Cup victory. In the video, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, walked together chanting the iconic lyrics of AR Rahman’s ‘Vande Mataram’. The video exudes patriotism, joy, and team spirit, giving fans a glimpse into the team’s jubilant celebration. Vicky captioned the video, “Welcome Home CHAMPIONS!” The Bad Newz actor also added an Indian Flag and red heart emojis.
Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday also shared the same video on their Instagram stories. The former added a Tricolor sticker on top and wrote, “Welcome home boys.” Have a look at the stories.
Earlier yesterday, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan dedicated a heartfelt tribute to Team India after their historic win in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, 2024. Shah Rukh took to his official X account to repost a video of Team India’s victory parade along the famous Marine Drive from Nariman Point to the Wankhede Stadium, and wrote a moving congratulatory message for the Men in Blue.

Team India reached Delhi on Thursday morning on a special Air India flight arranged by BCCI secretary Jay Shah. After their meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, the team reached Mumbai for a grand victory parade.
