Esha Deol admitted that it was a big challenge to choose between her professional and personal life.
Esha Deol is one of the most popular actresses of her generation who has impressed audiences with her remarkable roles on the celluloid. Daughter of acting veterans Dharmendra and Hema Malini, she started her career at a young age with the film Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche in 2002. After that, Esha acted in several hit films including Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, LOC: Kargil, Yuva, Dhoom, Kaal, No Entry and many others. After her last big-budget film in 2015, Esha took a four-year break before making a comeback with short films like Cakewalk and Ek Duaa.
Recently, Esha Deol signed for her next film, Hero Heeroine and sat down for an interview with Times Now. The actress, who made waves in the early 2000s with her flawless beauty and trendy fashion trends, looked back at the early years of her career. She expressed how happy she is with having experimented with many roles and that she has no regrets. In her words, “They were my wonderful years full of joy, innocence and everything a girl in her 20s can experience. I don’t regret anything, I am happy with everything I did back then.”
Coming back to the question, Esha stressed that she always put her passion for work above everything else. When asked if love was a random occurrence in her life, Esha said, “Not really. I was always passionate about my work. I gave a hundred per cent to everything I did professionally and then love just happened.”
As the conversation continued, Esha Deol was asked how she plans to balance her professional and personal life now that she is a mother of two daughters. The actress admitted that it was a big challenge to choose between the two and stated that she considers both areas of her life as her passion. Nonetheless, Esha praised her family members for being of great help and support to her whenever needed.
Towards the end of the conversation, Esha Deol was asked how she felt about constantly being compared to her parents and actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, who were no less than icons. When asked if such comparisons have proved detrimental to her career, Esha explained, “It all comes with being in this profession and in these times, that is the only goal for many. But that is not my focus. My vision is very clear! I was born to the most admired, lovable parents. I am blessed.”
