A group of fishermen have brought ashore a floating house that was found in the seas off Nagarkovil in Jaffna early this morning (Jan 15).
It is suspected that the house may have drifted into Lankan waters from one of the neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Myanmar, India, Taiwan, or Thailand.
The structure contains several traditional features associated with Buddhism.
