Parliament officials conducted an inspection of Srawasthi Mandiraya, Colombo 07, which has been brought under Parliament’s purview once again. The building, formerly used by the Western Provincial Council, was found in a dilapidated state due to years of neglect.
Abandoned luxury vehicles were discovered in the compound, some missing vital parts. State offices in the building had been shifted to Battaramulla under the former regime, leaving the premises unused.
