Richa Chadha and her actor-husband Ali Fazal are looking forward to welcoming their first child soon. As they prepare for this exciting new chapter, the couple is meticulously planning every aspect of their journey and striving to strike a balance between their personal and professional lives. Recently, they attended the screening of the highly anticipated third installment of Mirzapur. Mom-to-be Richa Chadha left no stone unturned to support her husband, who plays a pivotal role in the popular series.
Ali Fazal walked hand in hand with his wife, Richa Chadha at the screening. The actress is in her last trimester and is setting some chic maternity fashion inspiration for all expecting mothers. For the event last night, she wore a stunning maroon kaftan dress. Not only stylish, but the dress looked quite comfortable for the mom-to-be. It featured a thigh-high slit in the centre with a ruched pattern all over. She paired it with black flats and a small sling bag.
On the other hand, Ali Fazal opted for a casual look with a black T-shirt and faded jeans. He accessorized with a few chains, and his long hair was partly knotted at the back. Mirzapur is a popular action-thriller series featuring actors such as Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rajesh Tailang, Isha Talwar, Rasika Dugal and more.
Meanwhile, speaking about embracing parenthood, Richa shared with HT City, “We have had very free upbringings where no restrictions were placed on us by our parents. So, I think we will do the same. We will also surely try to inculcate the spirit of curiosity in the child.” She added that although she is not shooting at the moment, the actress is directing her efforts towards improving their production company, Pushing Buttons Studios.
Recently, the critically acclaimed film Girls Will Be Girls, directed by Shuchi Talati and produced by Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA). This marks the film’s third Grand Jury Prize, following wins at the Transylvania International Film Festival in Romania and the Biarritz Film Festival in France.
