Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot in Mumbai on July 12. Ahead of their wedding, the Ambanis hosted RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at their Mumbai residence.
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani on Friday hosted RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at their residence Antilia in Mumbai ahead of their son Anant Ambani’s wedding with Radhika Merchant. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot in Mumbai on July 12. Mukesh Ambani, along with Nita, son Anant and would be daughter-in-law Radhika, was photographed welcoming Bhagwat to his house.
Bride-to-be Radhika stunned in a traditional outfit, while Anant opted for a tangerine kurta and matching jacket for the occasion. Nita Ambani looked elegant in a gorgeous silk saree as she greeted Bhagwat with folded hands.
A few days back, Mukesh Ambani met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to invite him for his son’s wedding. Before that, Anant personally invited Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar to his wedding.

The distribution of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding invite began with Nita Ambani, chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer the invite and seek God’s blessings.
After the darshan, she told the media, “I have just got Baba Bholenath’s darshan. I am feeling very blessed…As per the Hindu tradition, we first take blessings of the Lord. I have offered the wedding invite to Baba…I am very happy. I have come here after 10 years. I am happy to see the development and Kashi Vishwanath corridor, NaMo Ghat, solar energy plants and cleanliness. I am very happy to see the change…”
The main wedding ceremonies will start on July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code is Indian traditional. July 13 will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic. All these functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC.
