Naga Shaurya urges all to respect Darshan’s privacy.
Previously, actress Rachita Ram also came out in support of Darshan as she also urged everyone to be “unbiased and transparent”.
Telugu actor Naga Shaurya has come out in support of Darshan Thoogudeepa amid the Renuka Swamy murder probe. Recently, the former took to his social media and penned down a long note. Shaurya addressed Darshan as “Anna” and claimed that he could never harm anyone. The Telugu star further asked everyone to respect Darshan’s privacy and stated that he has full faith in the judiciary system.
“My heart goes out to the family of the deceased, and I genuinely wish them strength during this difficult time. However, it is incredibly disappointing to see people rushing to conclusions about this issue. Darshan Anna is not someone who could ever harm anyone, even in his worst nightmares. Those who know him well can attest to his generosity, kind-hearted nature, and unwavering commitment to helping others. He has always gone out of his way to support those in need and has been a pillar of strength for many,” Naga Shaurya wrote.
“I cannot, even in my darkest fears, accept this news. I have faith in our judicial system and believe that the truth will come out soon. We must also remember that another family is suffering greatly as well. They deserve privacy and respect during this challenging period. I firmly believe that Anna, known for his integrity and compassion, will be proven innocent and that the real culprit will be brought to justice,” the actor added.
Naga Shaurya is not the first person who has come out in support of Darshan. Previously, actress Rachita Ram also urged the media to be “unbiased and transparent” while talking about the probe.
“I pray for the departed soul, Renukaswamy. I hope his family gains the strength to bear the loss. I hope justice will be delivered in this murder case. Darshan introduced me to the cinema industry. He is like my mentor. I cannot believe that the person who used to correct my mistakes and guide me was involved in the case. I believe that the police will bring out the truth. Hope the media will remain unbiased and transparent in their reports,” her statement read.
For the unversed, Darshan is being probed in connection to the Renuka Swamy murder case. Swamy was found dead in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. He used to reportedly work at an Apollo Pharmacy branch in Chitradurga. It has been alleged that Renuka used to send vulgar messages to Kannada actress Pavithra Gowad, a friend of Darshan. Angry about this, Renuka Swamy was murdered and his dead body was allegedly thrown in a canal at Kamaksshipalya, Bengaluru in front of Darshan. Reportedly, eight of the accused have implicated Darshan, claiming his presence during Renuka Swamy’s assault. The Kannada actor was arrested on June 11.
