Neil Nitin Mukesh and his father Nitin Mukesh are pure father-son goals. On June 27, the legendary singer celebrated his 74th birthday. Seizing the opportunity, the actor shared a post on Instagram expressing his love for his father. The post comprised a set of family pictures attached to an emotional note.
The heartwarming snapshots showcase the whole family posing for the cameras. We also get a glimpse of cakes and bouquets placed on the table. Screaming celebration and joy, the picture-perfect frames are too adorable to miss. Pouring his heart out, Neil Nitin Mukesh wrote in his caption, “Happiest Birthday to you papa @nitinmukesh9. I’m Yet to come across a man like you. So selfless , humble , loving and full of positivity. I pray to God for your good health and super success always. Have the best year ahead.”
Reacting to the post, veteran actress Bhagyashree also extended her wishes to Nitin Mukesh. She wrote, “Happy birthday.” Anupamaa fame Sudanshu Pandey also joined her to wish the legendary singer as he commented, “Happy birthday uncle.”
FYI: Nitin Mukesh is an acclaimed playback singer. Known for his work with notable music directors including Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, Anand Milind and Laxmikant Pyarelal, the singer has lent his voice to many popular Bollywood songs including Anil Kapoor’s iconic My Name Is Lakhan. Additionally, he crooned many other numbers picturised on Shashi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Manoj Kumar.
Coming back to Neil Nitin Mukesh, the actor is all set to make a comeback in the entertainment arena. He will soon foray into the OTT platform with his web series G.O.A.T. Touted to be a musical drama, the series also features Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role. Reportedly, Jacqueline and Neil will be at loggerheads in the series. The upcoming flick promises a captivating clash between their characters.
A source close to the development, in an interaction with Hindustan Times, revealed, “Jacqueline plays a dance mentor in the show while Neil plays a music mentor to kids, and the two are shown always at loggerheads. The show will revolve around their rivalry. It is a musical and will feature an ensemble cast, including actors Siddharth Nigam and Sumedh Mudgalkar.”
Adding to the excitement of the series is an impressive cast. Besides Neil and Jacqueline, the series will boast an ensemble cast including Priyank Sharma, Elisha Mayor, Devangshi Sen, Mohan Pandey, and Sanchit Kundra in the lead roles.
Apart from his OTT debut, Neil Nitin Mukesh also completed the first schedule of his film MaayaOne earlier this year. Headlined by Sundeep Kishan, the film’s story revolves around a common man’s conflict with a supervillain.
