Samantha’s Doctor Is a ‘Fraud’, ‘Warned Multiple Times’; The Liver Doc Pens Down STRONG Note

Dr Cyriac Abby Philips aka The Liver Doc has penned down a strong note, slamming Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Dr Jockers. The Liver Doc, who previously slammed the actress for recommending hydrogen peroxide nebulisation, has now claimed that the actress’ doctor is a “fraud” and has been warned by medical authorities multiple times.

On Saturday morning, Philips took to his X handle and penned down a strong note talking about his war of words with Samantha. He mentioned that a large number of the actress’ fans have messaged him asking to be “kind” towards her. However, the doctor stated that he is only fighting “medical misinformation” online.

The Liver Doc called Samantha’s doctor a “fraud” and alleged that he had been warned by health regulatory bodies multiple times. “The other “doctor” Samantha cited. The less said about this fraud, the better. Jockers is not a doctor. He is a naturopath. Naturopaths are a menance to society, a danger to patients, and a public health malignancy. And rightly so, Samantha’s Dr. Jockers has been warned multiple times by the US FDA, the US FTA and many other health regulatory bodies for selling and promoting public health endangering products and services. Basically, he is plain simple fraud,” he wrote.

Philips further apologised to Samantha and shared that his only motive was to fight misinformation. “I understand and empathize with Samantha’s health condition and I wish her the very best. I apologize if she felt uneasy or bad the way the message was conveyed. That was unintentional. My aim was her to leave behind medical misinformation peddling “doctors” who are using her vulnerability, and catering to her anecdotal experiences, for their gain,” he added.

For the unversed, earlier this week, Samantha took to her Instagram stories when she recommended the use of hydrogen peroxide nebulisation. Her post caught The Liver Doc’s attention who called her “health and science illiterate” and mentioned that the use of hydrogen peroxide nebulisation “is dangerous for health”. The doctor even demanded that Samantha should be jailed and added, “In a rational and scientifically progressive society, this woman will be charged with endangering public health and fined or put behind bars. She needs help or a better advisor in her team.”

Later, Samantha also reacted to the doctor’s criticism and mentioned that she “merely suggested” the use of hydrogen peroxide nebulisation with “good intention” since it was suggested to her by a “highly qualified doctor”.

Samantha even asked The Liver Doc to be polite and added, “It would have been kind and compassionate of him had he not being so proactive with his words. Especially the bit where he suggests I should be thrown in prison. Nevermind. I suppose it goes with the territory of being a celebrity. I posted as someone who needs medical treatment and not as a celebrity.”
