Teaser Of Vishnu Unnikrishnan’s Idiyan Chandhu Promises Gripping Action Drama

Actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan is gearing up to captivate the audience as the fiery protagonist in Idiyan Chandhu, the film’s official teaser reveals. Directed by Sreejith Vijayan, known for his work in Kuttanadan Marpappa and Margamkali, the teaser sets the stage for a gripping school-life action drama based on true events.

In the teaser, Vishnu Unnikrishnan’s character Idiyan Chandhu wastes no time in getting his way with a powerful punch against a local goon, marking the beginning of intense action and conflict. The narrative promises a gripping portrayal of Chandhu’s struggles and confrontations with a local Gunda gang.

Besides Vishnu Unnikrishnan, this thrilling action film features veteran actors Lena, Ramesh Pisharody, Jayashree Sivadas, Lalu Alex, Biju Sopanam and Sooraj Thelakkad.

Music composer Deepak Dev announced a collaboration with musical talent Dabzee for the film’s soundtrack, adding to the excitement. Sharing a picture with Dabzee, Deepak Dev wrote, “I am truly amazed to see how humble and down-to-earth a singer can be. I never expected Dabzee to have learned Picha Vecha Naal, Mayile Kuyile, Karthaave Nee Kalpichapol and sung them all so beautifully!!! And now here is the news! We are now gearing up for a new song in my upcoming release for Idiyan Chandu”, he wrote.

Last year, the establishment of an anti-drug squad at the Mar Elias Higher Secondary School, the team is currently shooting for the film. This anti-drug unit has been aptly named the Chandhu Squad and was officially introduced at the school in collaboration with state-level authorities.

The inauguration of the Chandhu Squad was a joint effort involving the film’s crew and school authorities. The squad’s objective is to extend its presence to schools throughout the state, drawing inspiration from the film Idiyan Chandhu, which delves into the critical issue of drug abuse and addiction. Notably, key members of the film’s crew, including the director, actors, and choreographers, were in attendance at the event.
