Mirzapur is arguably one of the biggest and most popular web series in the country, achieving a cult status among the audience. The latest season of the show saw the deaths of numerous notable characters.
Sharad Shukla:
Actor Anjum Sharma played the role of Sharad, an important part of the show. The audience witnessed a battle for power between him and Guddu Pandit (played by Ali Fazal), which ended badly for Sharad. He was killed by Kaleen Bhaiya (played by Pankaj Tripathi) in the 10th episode.
Parshuram Gupta:
Played by Shahnawaz Pradhan, the character of Inspector Parshuram Gupta faced a brutal death. After hearing the news of his youngest daughter Golu Gupta’s fake death, Parshuram ends his own life.
Rauf Lala:
Anil George portrayed the role of Rauf Lala, a character who featured in all three seasons and was killed off unexpectedly. He was killed in jail by a poet named Rahim.
Robin:
Played by Priyanshu Painuli, Robin was a loved character in the show, who was paired with Dimpy, Guddu Pandit’s sister. He was killed by Guddu.
Munnawwar Niazi:
The role of Munnawwar Niazi was played by Ayaz Khan. His character was a new entry in the third season as a mediator between the dons of Purvanchal but was killed off by the end.
Mirzapur season 3 started streaming on July 5, on Amazon Prime Video. The lead cast of the show included Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Varma and Isha Talwar. The season is made under the direction of Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer. It is produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassim Jagmagia and Gurmmeet Singh under the banner of Excel Entertainment.
