Chase McNary married Ellie White on July 6 in a rather unconventional wedding ceremony atop a hill.
The Bachelorette alum Chase McNary got married to his partner and hat designer Ellie White on July 6. The couple who met online got engaged on July 2, 2022. Unlike conventional wedding rituals, the duo took their vows in a “super fun” ceremony. Chase McNary appeared in season 12 of The Bachelorette, a dating game show. He also participated in 6th season of Bachelor in Paradise. According to reports, he failed to find the love of his life on both shows, until he met Ellie White on social media. The lovebirds said yes at the Arapahoe Basin’s mid-mountain lodge in Dillon, Colorado.
Speaking about getting married at an elevation of 11,500 feet, Chase McNary, in an interaction with People revealed, “We wanted to get married at the venue, so the mountaintop was kind of the most important part for us. We’re going (to be) at 11,500 feet, so we’re kind of just basing everything off of love reaching new heights. It’s kind of the theme for our wedding. So, 11,500 feet, love reaching new heights is kind of like our tagline on everything.” The reality star added that he and his partner did not want a “stiff formal wedding”. Instead, they enjoyed a “super lax, super fun, casual and also, just a full weekend with the people that” they hold dear.
Ellie White disclosed that a florist in Denver created an “artsy, unique floral” set-up minus the typical white flowers for the important day in her life. Before the marriage ceremony, the couple also hosted a chuck wagon and a rehearsal dinner for friends and family, reported People. While McNary was dressed in Nick’s Menswear-tailored full custom suit, White’s “dream” wedding dress was designed by Galia Lahav. White also sported a custom bridal hat from her label.
Staying true to their non-traditional marriage, Chase McNary opted for a Best Woman and Ellie White chose a Man of Honor. While the groom walked down the aisle to Elton John’s Can You Feel the Love Tonight track, the bride walked to Jason Mraz’s I Won’t Give Up. The wedding festivities were held between 3 pm and 8 pm so that the couple and the guests could enjoy the “golden hour in the mountains.’ As per McNary the time frame created “a different feel than in traditional weddings where it’s like the sun goes down and then everyone just kind of gets drunk and blacks out.”
Although Chase McNary and Ellie White are yet to confirm their honeymoon destination, the newlyweds are placing their bets on Fiji and New Zealand.
