The motorcycle used in the shooting incident reported yesterday in the Kalubowila area, targeting a vehicle spare parts store, has been found by the Kohuwala Police.
Two gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire near the Buddhagosha Maha Vidyalaya on Hospital Road in Kalubowila last afternoon, while no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
The Police said the motorcycle, a scooter, used in the shooting was found abandoned near the Maharagama Road sign board on the Peliyagoda- Kesbewa alternative road.
The motorcycle was found to be fitted with two fake number plates, while the chassis and engine numbers had also been erased.
