The trailer launch event of Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithantook was held on Saturday in Chennai.

Directed by Vijay Milton and starring Vijay Antony, Megha Akash, Sathyaraj, Sarathkumar and others, the trailer launch event for the film Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithantook place at Prasad Lab in Saligramam, Chennai on Saturday The event saw the film crew, including Vijay Antony, producer Dhanajayan, as well as special guests like Pichaikkaran director Sasi and producer D. Siva, participating and speaking. On stage, Vijay Antony expressed, “Director Vijay Milton and I have been friends for 20 years. We immediately planned to collaborate when the opportunity arose.”

He also remarked, “If Vijay Milton had continued as a cinematographer instead of becoming a director, he would have been one of the best in India. I once read a script titled Koyambedu written by Vijay Milton, which I was supposed to act in but unfortunately, it didn’t materialise.”

Producer D. Siva lamented that in the past, movies that did well in theatres could fetch up to Rs 20 crores digitally, but now, they struggle to even reach Rs 3 crores. He emphasized the dire state of affairs for Tamil producers amidst these challenges.

The trailer begins with Sarath Kumar advising Vijay Antony’s character to maintain a low profile and avoid contact with others, though the reasons remain unclear. During his seclusion, the protagonist rescues an injured dog, a seemingly innocent act that unexpectedly brings him trouble.
