Hrithik Roshan ‘Continues To Be My Son’, Says Zarine Khan: ‘He And Sussanne Love Each Other As Best Friends’

Hrithik Roshan was previously married to Sussanne Khan. They have two kids together,  Hrehaan and Hridhaan. The former couple separated after nearly 14 years of marriage and continue to co-parent their kids harmoniously. Even Zarine Khan, Sussanne’s mother, feels that Hrithik is still like a son to her. She also mentioned how Hrithik and Sussanne share a special friendship with each other.

Speaking to ETimes, she said, “Duggu (Hrithik Roshan) continues to be my son and he is a wonderful human being. He and Sussanne may not be together, but they love each other as best friends. Together, they inculcate great qualities in their children. They respect each other and maintain a very healthy equation. I am glad that they have maintained dignity and respect for each other.”

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan who got married back in December 2000 officially divorced in November 2014. Despite their split, they have maintained a cordial relationship, often coming together for family events and co-parenting their two sons – Hridhaan and Hrehaan. From family holidays to enjoying brunches and films together, they are often seen spending time together. In fact, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sussanne temporarily moved in with Hrithik to take care of the kids.

However, years after the end of their marriage, both Hrithik and Sussanne have found love again. While Hrithik Roshan is dating Saba Azad, Sussanne Khan is dating Arslan Goni. The two couples are also sometimes spotted together on special occasions and share a friendship. Zarine Khan praised her daughter’s boyfriend, actor Arslan Goni, and shared, ”Arslan has studied law and belongs to a reputed political family in Jammu. He’s also interested in acting, so I wish him all the best for that. His family is very good, and I am glad that Susanne and Arslan are happy together.”

As for Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad, they confirmed their relationship at Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash in 2022. They arrived for the bash holding hands and posed for the paparazzi together. Since then, they never failed to set major couple goals. There is no doubt that Saba gets along with the Fighter actor’s family quite well.
