Akshay Kumar revealed that he learnt about failure from his father-in-law Rajesh Khanna.

Akshay Kumar cited Rajesh Khanna’s example to express that he learnt from his failures.

Actor Akshay Kumar shared insights on his journey to success, highlighting how his failures have taught him the transient nature of everything. He drew from the experiences of his father-in-law, the legendary Rajesh Khanna, whose career saw significant ups and downs. Akshay emphasized that success requires hard work but also acknowledged the role of luck in achieving one’s goals.

During a conversation with Galatta Plus, Akshay Kumar shared, “I don’t let anything enter my head. I have seen a lot of people fall down, I have heard many stories. My father-in-law has taught me so much, because he had seen the biggest success in life and then he saw a complete drop. I have heard stories. What I do is, I take knowledge from other people, and I realise that these things are just to be kept at a one-hand’s distance. My job is to just keep working.”

He further explained, “In my career, I have given 16-18 hits continuously, then continuously I’ve given 10-12 flops. I don’t take it seriously. I’ve known this since the beginning of my career. It is not yours. It is a crown that will be passed on to others. Today, it’s with you, next Friday it’ll be with somebody else. Success is an amazing thing, but don’t take it seriously; it’ll run.”

During the post-pandemic phase, Akshay faced challenges with several releases that received mixed responses. Notably, his recent film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, faced financial setbacks, falling short of expectations at the box office. Despite this, Akshay remains resilient in the face of adversity and continues to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the film industry.

In a candid statement, Akshay expressed his perspective on success, emphasizing the significant role of luck alongside hard work, “I really believe this. Success is 70% luck and 30% hard work. I have seen worst films becoming superhits, and best films becoming flops… That means there is something called luck, and it plays its own game,” he stated.

Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his next release Sarfira co-starring Radhikka Madan. The film screening was held recently and many stars were seen attending it. Atrangi Re director Aanand L Rai was also present and today he reviewed it. He called the film a gem and praised Akshay Kumar’s performance.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Aanand L Rai shared a photo featuring Akshay Kumar and Radhikka Madan and wrote, “Last night I saw a gem called #sarfira by @sudha_kongara! Loved it. And yesterday I understood the real meaning of ‘Relentless’ from my fav @akshaykumar!
