Telugu Actor Arvind Krishna Receives Vegan Voice Of India Award

Telugu actor Arvind Krishna, known for hits like Rama Rao on Duty, Shukra and SIT, became a recipient of a special award. At the recent Vegan India Conference, the actor became a recipient of the Vegan Voice of India award, for spreading awareness about a healthier and sustainable lifestyle through veganism. Arvind Krishna chose to embrace the vegan lifestyle a few years ago. For more than two years, he has been a Veganuary ambassador. So, at the event, which was held on July 6 and 7, in Mumbai, he received the Vegan Voice of India award, for his contribution as a vegan. At the event, Arvind Krishna was a panellist with Jacqueline Fernandez, a popular name in Bollywood. The two enlightened on their respective veganism journeys and detailed the benefits of such a lifestyle. After receiving the award, Arvind stated, “Veganism has been a way of my life. I receive the award with a sense of commitment and duty.” Continuing, Arvind Krishna added, “Perhaps, this is the universe’s way of inspiring me to do more and further strengthen the vegan cause.”

Arvind Krishna is also a professional basketball player. According to him, the vegan lifestyle compliments his acting and athletic skills. As someone who took the path of veganism for ethical and environmental reasons, Arvind feels that it has been an excellent choice for his body. He stated, “From muscle recovery and reducing the risk of inflammation in the body to improving endurance and performance, veganism helped me achieve great results.” It has improved his overall well-being, while also being helpful in his career decision making.

He is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming, A Masterpiece: Rise Of The Superhero. As per reports, the film is expected to release this year. It is being made under the direction of Suku Purvaj. The cast of the film includes Arvind Krishna as the lead, along with Jyothipoorvaj, Ashu Reddy, and Sneha Gupta. It is produced by Srikanth Kandragula and will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.
