Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s Honeymoon Pic With Nicholai Sachdev Viral

Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar recently married Mumbai-based gallerist, Nicholai Sachdev. The actress tied the knot in a private ceremony in Thailand, followed by a star-studded wedding reception in Chennai. The grand reception was attended by prominent political leaders and celebrities.

Recently, Varalaxmi shared a romantic picture with her husband from her honeymoon diaries on her Instagram Story. The honeymoon celebration photo is gaining attention on the internet. In the photo, she is seen holding her husband tight. The picture was taken in the resort and the newlyweds appeared to be enjoying themselves. The honeymoon location of the newly married couple is unknown. Sharing the photo, she wrote, “Calm after the storm.”

Varalaxmi recently shared a video of when she was in Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invite him to her wedding with Nicholai. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Delhi in a day…What a privilege it was to meet our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, He Spent so much time with us despite his very busy schedule…we had the honour of inviting him to our wedding..thank you, sir, for being so warm and welcoming.” The daughter of veteran actor Sarathkumar also thanked his father, stating, “Thank you daddy @r_sarath_kumar for making this happen.”

With more than 30 films in her portfolio, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who debuted with the film Podaa Podi in 2012, is having a successful career in cinema. By sharing large screens with the stars of the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam cinema industries, she gradually built connections with them.

The reception in Chennai was attended by many celebrities, including AR Rahman, Atlas, Balakrishna, Jackie Shroff, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Kichcha Sudeep, Mani Ratnam, Ramya Krishnan, Shobhana, Siddharth, Prabhudeva, Andrea Jeremiah, Jiiva and Suresh Gopi. Political party leaders, including BJP state president Annamalai and former chief minister O Panneerselvam, were also present and wished the couple a prosperous married life.

The couple got engaged on March 1, and reportedly they knew each other for 14 years. Nicholai Sachdev first married Kavitha and is a father of a 15-year-old daughter. Sachdev takes care of his daughter after his separation from his first wife. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be next seen in the film Raayan, written and directed by Dhanush.
